Watercolor FUNdamentals Class Term

4 Weekly Classes Each Term

Meets Wednesdays and repeats weekly for 4 weeks.

What To Expect

Our objective is to explore the creative medium of watercolor. Watercolor topics we will cover in-depth include materials, blending, color mixing, color theory, layering, transparency, and techniques to highlight and enhance your paintings. We will create and experiment at the Artists' Edge classroom in Poulsbo.

Beginning, intermediate, and professional painters are all welcome. This is a fundamental course designed for beginners, ages 14 & up. Experienced watercolor students are welcome to join the fun and learn new techniques. This semi-private class is limited to six students.

*If you can't make one of the scheduled dates in the term, you will be allowed one make-up class the following month. We are artists, therefore flexible. Don't let a schedule conflict prevent you from joining the fun! 

Instructor Trent Shadburne, local artist/illustrator. Trent completed his Bachelor of fine arts in visual communication, locally at Northwest College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration and entertainment art.

The instructor will email you with a recommended supply list, you may bring your preferred art supplies, or you may choose to purchase supplies directly from Artists' Edge as a discounted bundle.

Enrolled students may purchase class art materials from Artists Edge on scheduled class dates with a student discount savings of 10%
